ROBERT .HUGHES

Robert advises IDG on investment strategy and operation.

He has 40 years of experience working in global business and investment. He was the first CEO of Vietjet Air, Vietnam’s first private airline. Prior to that, he was the General Director of Hewlett-Packard in Thailand and Vietnam, as well as General Director for Cisco Systems in Vietnam.

He has worked across several functions, including finance, sales, and general management. He has also worked across several industries, including technology, education, financial services, aviation, agriculture and mining. He has served on several Boards in oversight and governance roles.

Robert holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business, Class of 1987.
